Twin Lakes Area Hiking

One of the major tourist routes during the Colorado summer is the drive over Independence Pass, with Aspen, CO on the west side and Twin Lakes, CO on the other. With the Continental Divide Trail and Colorado Trail passing nearby, Mount Elbert to the north and the Collegiate Peaks Wilderness to the south, Twin Lakes is a mecca for hikers and backpackers.
