About halfway between Denver, CO and Loveland, CO hugging the west side of Interstate 25 is the St Vrain State Park. Formerly known as Barbour Ponds, this area consists of 600 acres of land and 150 acres of water among the various ponds where visitors come for fishing, camping, wildlife viewing and hiking. The trails in the area are essentially paths around each pond for fishing access with picnic shelters and piers along the way. This is a fee area.
