Montezuma Hiking Area
South of Loveland Pass and east of the Keystone Ski Resort is the small town of Montezuma, CO. Many Front Range high-elevation trailheads provide access to the many trails in this area, including the Continental Divide Trail and some non-standard routes to climb the Grays Peak and Torreys Peak 14ers from the south - a much less-travelled option. The Lenawee trail climbs up high above Arapaho Basin Ski Resort, and plenty of historic mining activity in the area makes for a historically-interesting outing in this area.
