The northern stretch of the Wet Mountains just south of Canon City, CO consists of a series of motorized trails through the San Isabel National Forest. A series of trailheads off Oak Creek Grade Road (Co Rd 143), which runs along the east side of the range before traversing over the range down to Westcliffe, CO on the west side of the Wet Mountains, will take you deep into the hills converging at Curley Peak (9,660ft elevation) and Tanner Peak (9,340ft elevation) as the high points of the trail system.
