Southwest of the city of Colorado Springs, CO is the local park North Cheyenne Canon Park that runs along the bottom of North Cheyenne Canon along North Cheyenne Creek. There are two visitor centers for the many hikers, bikers and trail runners that visit the area along with picnic areas and an extensive trail system across 1,600 acres. With more than 20 miles of trails, hikers can enjoy two waterfalls - Helen Hunt Falls and Silver Cascade Falls - as well as rock formations and amazing views.
