West along the I-70 from Denver, Georgetown, CO and Silver Plume, CO are the last towns before reaching the Eisenhower Tunnel, and in this area are a number of trailheads, including access to the Continental Divide Trail. The popular Herman Gulch Trailhead - at 10,300ft elevation - is a popular high-elevation access to this part of the Front Range.
