Deer Creek Canyon Park
Just outside the southwest corner of the C-470 ring road around Denver, CO is the heavily-trafficked Deer Creek Canyon Park. With both multi-use trails and hiker-only trails, this park has options for all non-motorized outdoor recreation users. This park spans more than 1,600 acres of public land and more than 17 miles of trails in the Front Range foothills, providing excellent views of Denver and the surrounding areas. Please note the seasonal closure of the Black Bear Trail connecting Deer Creek Canyon Park and Hildebrand Ranch Park in effect February 1 - July 31.
