Along the foothills of the Front Range west of Sedalia, CO is the hiker-friendly Roxborough Canyon State Park. With almost 4,000 acres of land and a 14-mile trail system, visitors can hike around impressive red rock formations, enjoy wildlife viewing and bird watching or just come for a picnic in a beautiful natural setting. The trails in this area connect to the Sharptail Ridge Open Space (operated by Douglas County) to the southeast or to trails in the Pike National Forest to the west. This is a fee area.
