Colorado

Acquired by Larimer County in two phases - first in 1998 and then in 2000 - this 437-acre open space was obtained to protect the natural environment and wildlife of the area while also providing a space for outdoor recreation as well. This area connects to the adjacent Coyote Ridge Natural Area and Devils Backbone Open Space, making for an expanded trail system outside of the borders of RImrock itself for hikers, bikers and horseback riders.
