The North Fruita Desert Recreation Area, also known as the 18 Road Trail System, is a trail system mainly used by mountain bikers in the desert hills about 11 miles north of Fruita, CO. The terrain is mostly rocky scrubland with more trees on the north side along the Edge Loop and Sarlacc trails.
Including singletrack and doubletrack non-motorized trails as well as a number of motorized trails, this area features a campground with 35 campsites and 2 group sites (primitive sites with vault toilet and no electricity).
