Located on the southwest edge of Colorado Springs, CO, Cheyenne Mountain State Park is a year-round hiking destination at the base of Cheyenne Mountain, one of the most prominent landmarks on the Colorado Springs western horizon. With more than 28 miles of trails, including the new Dixon Trail that leads up the mountain itself, there are an incredible array of trails and loop options available to the visitor. Fully opened in 2008, this relatively new park also has camping and archery as well. This is a fee area.
